During their crucial title-deciding match against Kayserispor, Galatasaray fans made a heartfelt public plea for Victor Osimhen to remain at the club, unveiling a prominent banner at Rams Park.
The banner, which was displayed before kickoff, read: “Stay with us Osi! Not because you have to but because you want to.”
This gesture came after fans launched the #StayWithUsOsimhen campaign on social media, urging the Nigerian forward to stay with the Istanbul giants.
Osimhen, who scored in Galatasaray’s 3-0 victory over Kayserispor, acknowledged the outpouring of support but did not make any immediate commitments about his future.
He stated that any decisions regarding his next move would be made after the season’s conclusion.
Despite the emotional plea from fans, speculation surrounding Osimhen’s future remains high, with widespread expectations that the striker could be on his way to one of Europe’s top clubs in the upcoming transfer window.
