Nigeria forward Ademola Lookman has resumed training with Atalanta following the breakdown of his proposed transfer to Inter Milan, Nigeria Footballng reports.
The Nigerian winger had been absent in recent days as he sought to force through a move to the San Siro. While Lookman reportedly agreed personal terms with Inter, talks collapsed after both clubs failed to strike a deal, with the Nerazzurri officially pulling out on Monday.
On Tuesday morning, Lookman returned to the Zingonia training base, accompanied by his father and a close friend, before taking part in individual drills.
Atalanta’s management is now weighing potential disciplinary action against the Super Eagles star for his conduct during the transfer saga.
La Dea, fresh from their UEFA Europa League triumph, will open their Serie A campaign on Sunday against newly promoted Pisa.
