The Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) has announced that its 2025 Annual General Assembly (AGA) will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, in Abuja, bringing together key stakeholders of the country’s third-tier football league.
In a statement released by the NLO Secretariat, the body confirmed that this year’s congress will be held physically, enabling delegates from across the federation to engage directly on issues central to the league’s growth, reform, and administration.
Representatives from State Football Associations (FAs) as well as affiliated clubs are expected to participate.
Ahead of the assembly, the NLO has instructed each State FA to democratically select one delegate who will speak and vote on behalf of their state during the congress. To aid coordination and accreditation, the Secretariat has mandated that each state submit the name and phone number of its chosen representative.
“The FAs are to provide the names and phone numbers of one representative (each) who will attend the NLO 2025 Congress on behalf of their states,” the Secretariat stated, stressing that all entries must be submitted on or before December 1, 2025.
The AGA serves as a critical decision-making platform for the NLO, offering an opportunity to review existing policies, address operational challenges, and define strategic priorities for the 2025/2026 season and beyond.
With preparations underway, the league anticipates a fully represented and productive congress.
