Morocco AFCON 2025: Pan-African Road Trip Unites the Continent in Football Celebration

Africa is already vibrating to the rhythm of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, and from Cotonou, a bold new initiative has set the continent in motion. A dynamic caravan featuring more than 40 influential content creators and journalists has embarked on a symbolic road trip across over ten African capitals, all headed toward Morocco — host nation of AFCON 2025.
Known as “Destination Morocco 2025 – Land of Football,” the journey blends sport, culture, storytelling, and human connection. Covering thousands of kilometers, the team cruises through West Africa, with stops in Togo, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Senegal, and Mauritania before reaching Morocco, where preparations are accelerating for the tournament scheduled from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
A Pan-African Team on the Road With the People
This caravan brings together young digital creators, journalists, videographers, photographers and influencers from across Africa and France. Their mission: to tell the African football story like never before.
From every city visited, the team produces Reels, Stories and short documentaries, offering millions of followers an immersive, real-time experience. Their content captures the pulse of local cultures, the emotions of fans, and the stories that define Africa’s unshakeable love for the game.
At each border and in every capital, the team dives into traditions, legends and community life — showcasing an Africa that is vibrant, creative and united by football.
A Human Journey Rooted in Authenticity
This is not just a continental expedition. It is a human adventure built on connection. Choosing the road instead of the air keeps the caravan close to the people, allowing them to feel the heartbeat of each city and experience the AFCON spirit long before the opening whistle.
Each country visited adds a new chapter to the narrative of African football — its icons, its emotions, its iconic grounds and its fiercely loyal supporters. For the first time, this cultural wealth is being documented in real time and shared widely across the continent.
Morocco: Final Destination, Land of Football
The caravan’s arrival in Rabat will symbolize the unity of an entire continent preparing for its premier sporting event. With world-class infrastructure, a bold long-term vision, and unwavering investment in football development, Morocco stands today as a continental leader and a key hub for African sport.
The “Route of the AFCON” is already writing history. It sets the tone for a festive, unifying build-up to a tournament that promises to electrify the continent and deliver an unforgettable AFCON 2025.
