Zimbabwe Name Strong Warriors Squad for Unity Cup Clash Against Nigeria

The Zimbabwe Football Association has announced a formidable Warriors squad ahead of the highly anticipated 2026 Unity Cup encounter against Nigeria’s Super Eagles in London.

Zimbabwe will take on Nigeria in the semi-final of the tournament, which is scheduled to hold in the United Kingdom later this month.

The Unity Cup competition will run from May 26 to May 30 and will feature four participating nations — Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Jamaica, and India.

In an official statement, the Zimbabwe Football Association revealed the list of players selected to represent the Warriors as preparations gather momentum for the showdown against the three-time African champions.

The squad includes a blend of experienced stars playing in Europe and across Africa, with expectations high that the Warriors will provide tough competition throughout the tournament.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles are also expected to assemble a strong squad for the invitational event as both teams continue fine-tuning preparations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Unity Cup is designed to promote football unity and strengthen sporting ties among participating countries, while also providing teams with valuable competitive matches to assess their squads.
