Rangers’ Technical Adviser Fidelis Ilechukwu Urges Focus After Away Victory Over Bayelsa United

Rangers International technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has called on his players to stay focused despite their impressive away triumph over Bayelsa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The Flying Antelopes secured a crucial road win, maintaining their top spot in the NPFL standings and strengthening their title ambitions as the season enters its decisive phase.

Speaking after the match, Ilechukwu commended his team’s overall performance but cautioned against complacency in the remaining fixtures.

“It was a good game for us. I’m happy, but we must not lose concentration. It was a great game,” he said.

While praising the defensive unit and goalkeeper for their solid performance, Ilechukwu admitted dissatisfaction with his side’s second-half display.

“I’m not too happy with the second half because we didn’t play well, but our defenders did well and our goalkeeper played their roles well,” he added.

Rangers will now turn their attention to their next league fixture as they continue their pursuit of the NPFL title.
