Remo Stars Honour Victor Mbaoma with Brand-New Car for Outstanding Contribution

Remo Stars FC have rewarded team captain Victor Mbaoma with a brand-new car in recognition of his immense contribution to the club, particularly during the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

Mbaoma emerged as the club’s top scorer after netting 14 goals for the Sky Blue Stars, despite the team’s relegation to the Nigeria National League (NNL).

Announcing the gift on social media, the club praised the striker’s commitment and impact throughout the campaign.

“14 goals and moments of magic. What better way to honour a club legend, Victor Mbaoma, than with a brand-new car. Congratulations,” the club posted.

Mbaoma, who was visibly delighted by the gesture, also took to social media to express his gratitude to Remo Stars founder, Kunle Soname and everyone who supported him throughout the season.

“Mr. Kunle Soname, on being the top scorer in the NPFL, I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible surprise gift of a brand-new car. When you first made the promise, I was humbled by your generosity, but having it become a reality is truly overwhelming despite the situation surrounding it.

“This thoughtful gesture speaks volumes about your exceptional leadership and the value you place on your word. Thank you for keeping your promise, believing in me, and investing in my well-being. I am incredibly honoured to work under your guidance, sir.”

The forward also acknowledged the support of his family, teammates, coaches, club officials and friends.

“To my family, coaches, teammates, Remo Stars officials and my friends, I couldn’t have reached this point without your constant encouragement, prayers and words of advice. You all cheered me on during the tough days and celebrated my victories as if they were your own.

“Thank you for always having my back. I celebrate this achievement with all of you and deeply appreciate your contribution and support.”

Mbaoma concluded his message by thanking God for the milestone.

“Lord Jesus, I thank You most especially for this day. I am grateful.”

The reward highlights Remo Stars’ appreciation of Mbaoma’s dedication and performances, which saw him finish as the club’s leading scorer in a challenging season.
