Oluwabori Falaye: Canadian-Nigerian forward linked with move from KF Tirana to Irtysh Pavlodar

Canadian-Nigerian centre-forward Oluwabori Falaye of KF Tirana is being linked with a summer move to Kazakh Premier Liga side Irtysh, with the Albanian club expected to face a decision over the striker’s future in the coming weeks.
Falaye, 27, has been with Tirana since August 2025 after arriving on a free transfer and has established himself as an option in attack in the Kategoria Superiore. He made 24 league appearances last season, scoring twice and adding one assist, featuring regularly if not always as a first-choice starter.
Irtysh are understood to be tracking the forward as they look to add depth in the final third ahead of the new Premier Liga campaign. Falaye’s current market valuation is around €100,000, which would make him a relatively low-cost target for the Kazakh club if negotiations progress.
Born in Providence and comfortable on either foot, Falaye has spent the bulk of his senior career in Germany’s regional divisions and in Albania, with previous spells at clubs including FSV Frankfurt, where he was part of a side that won the Hessen Cup in 2022-23. His most productive league stint came in the Regionalliga Sudwest, where he registered six goals and six assists across 38 appearances.
Falaye’s contract situation at Tirana has not been publicly clarified, leaving room for both a potential fee-based deal or negotiations over a free transfer, depending on the exact terms of his stay in the Albanian capital.
