Asisat Oshoala scores in Barcelona thrashing of Charity Adule’s Alhama

Nigeria striker, Asisat Oshoala was among the goal scorers for Barcelona on Saturday as they defeated Alhama 4-0 in the Spanish Liga F match.
Claudia Pina opened the scoring for the hosts inside fourth minute of the game as she connected with a well measured pass from Lucia Bronze.
There were other goals from subsequent chances created by Barcelona until a minute after the half hour mark when Salma Paralluello make it two with solo finish.
That put the Culers in a more comfortable situation as they headed to the dugout for the first half of the match.
The restart was almost the like the previous but Alhama produced some promising moments that could have put them back to the game but fell short of ideas to make them count.
That sent a signal for the hosts and saw them double the efforts which resulted to scoring two more goals.
Bruna Viamalla got the third via an assist from Pina while Nigerian top star, Oshoala waited till added minutes of the game to score the fourth goal ending her drought after four games and registering her fourth league goals of the season.
Oshoala’s Nigerian compatriot, Charity Adule was able to make first half appearance in the match as she was subbed off at the restart.
The five-time African best has now scored four goals in 11 league outings for Barcelona, while Adule will wait to open her account for Alhama after two games.
Barcelona are still sitting comfortable at the top of the log winning all the 12 games played so far with 36 points while Alhama are on the opposite side of the table with just three points recorded from same number of games.
