CAF CC: Rivers United battle ready for ASEC Mimosa at Godswill Akpabio Stadium

Nigeria’s representative at the CAF Confederations Cup, Rivers United will on Friday hold their final training session at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium ahead of their game against ASEC Mimosa of Ivory Coast.
The Nigeria Premier Football League side are in Group B of the ongoing competition as they are looking to become the first Nigerian club to win the CAF Confederation Cup.
Head coach of the side, Stanley Eguma will put the players through their paces at the venue of Sunday’s encounter, with the first fifteen minutes open to the media.
The Pride of Rivers fell to a 3-0 defeat against Congolese outfit, Diables Noirs on Sunday and will look to redeem their glory when they face the 1998 CAF champions league winners.
Meanwhile, ASEC Mimosa were held to a barren draw against DC Motema Pembe in Abidjan.
Eguma and a selected player will attend the pre-match press conference on Saturday, starting from 12:00 pm at the conference hall of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
