“Never say never’ – Napoli president leaves door open for Osimhen’s transfer bids

Aurelio De Laurentis, Napoli president may have dropped hints about the possible sales of the club’s prize asset, Victor Osimhen.
De Laurentiis was quizzed about the futures of the Nigerian man, who have been at the forefront of Napoli’s charge for Serie A title this season, helping the club currently sitting 15 points clear on the Serie A table.
Napoli are also in a better position to advance further in the Champions League after beating Frankfurt 2-0 in Germany in the first leg of round of 16 tie.
Osimhen have had hands in 85 percent of Napoli’s goals in all competitions with the Super Eagles’ forward leading the Serie A scorers’ chart with 18 goals and De Laurentis says the in-form man could only leave for the right price.
“It won’t be difficult to keep our best players, we’re good with contracts – but never say never in case of crazy proposals. I think they will stay for long time,” he told TNT Sports.
Sources from Italy gathered that over 20 scouts from top clubs in Europe and beyond were at the Deutsche Bank Park on Tuesday night to monitor the key players from either side, including Osimhen.
