Peter Ijeh: Former NPFL topscorer keen to coach in Nigeria

By Monsurah Olatunji

Former Nigerian International, Peter Ijeh says he is available for any coaching opportunity in Nigeria.
Peter featured for Nigeria at the international level in 2002 and won the Nigeria Premier Football League title with Julius Berger in 2000 as well as the league’s Golden Boot same season after netting 14 goals.
The former Malmo FF of Sweden striker, who was appointed as Team Manager of Vårgårda IK, a Swedish second division side in 2020, is now keen to handle any of the national teams if given the chance.
The former Copenhagen frontman had twice applied for the U17 job but was not considered for the position and he has declared himself available for national team opportunity after acquiring relevant coaching certificates.
“I am available right now and I am willing to coach any club in Nigeria as soon as possible,” the Sweden-based manager told media.
“I want to contribute to the league and I want people to see what I can offer. “I have my coaching badges and license and so I am qualified to sit on the bench.
“I have been developing players locally for the past ten years and I know the pattern of play here,” — he concluded.
