Shooting Stars slams official Auwal Muhammed with indefinite suspension

Shooting Stars Sports Club has placed an indefinite suspension on its Camp Commandant, Auwal Muhammad for his show of shame during their Nigeria Premier Football League clash against Akwa United.

Muhammed was caught in a viral picture urinating at the centre of Adamasingba Stadium before the kickoff of the clash against the Promise Keepers. The action has led to Muhammed being banned for a season by the Interim Management Committee, IMC also a fine on his club.

The management of Oluyole Warriors have expressed displeasure for Muhammed’s act and queried him for the action that has brought shame to the club.

Unhappy with such activity, which the club condemned in totality, the management queried Auwal to explain what led to such a behaviour in public glare.

The club was unsatisfied with Muhammed’s response to the query as they believed the act has brought public embarrassment to the club and therefore sanctioned him in line with the disciplinary measures taken by the IMC.

The Camp Commandant has been asked to proceed on an indefinite suspension which will see him stay off all the club’s activities during the period of his suspension.
