Robert Mizo attributes new signings to impressive Bayelsa United form

Bayelsa United top goal scorer, Robert Mizo says the new signings coupled with government support have helped the team attain its recent superb form in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The Yenegoa-based side has won its last three games and recorded a 3-0 win over Group B leaders, Lobi Stars on Sunday.
The win increased Dipreye Tebowei’s side’s unbeaten run to four games, a form that started in the second stanza which Mizo attributes to its impactful mid-season signings.
“First of all, we want to thank God. A lot of players have come to the team. The addition has helped the team so far for this second stanza,” Mizo told journalists.
“The government as well have tried to help the players. A lot of motivation and hard work have brought us this far.
“I will say it’s the grace of God and plenty of hard work. That’s what has been helping me. God’s grace and hard work.
“I want to go to another place and get a different challenge entirely hopefully abroad.”
Mizo has scored eight goals for Bayelsa United after 14 league games and is leading Bayelsa United’s front line and the second top goal scorer in the league with a goal behind Enyimba forward, Emeka Obioma.
