Ex-golden boot winner Junior Lokosa talks up Remo Stars’ chances at NPFL Super Six

Junior Lokosa believes Remo Stars can make huge impact at the title winning Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six playoffs billed for Lagos next month.
Lokosa won the NPFL golden boot in 2018, scoring 19 goals and had joined the Sky Blue Stars this season amidst injury-plagued campaign which saw he had limited playing time.
With the Remo Stars picking a Super Six slot in Group A, finishing second behind Bendel Insurance FC and the former Kano Pillars’ forward is back and hoping to help Remo Stars win the Super Six glory.
“What a great way to end the NPFL group table, after been away for some time,” Lokosa told media.
“I’m happy to be back in the team for a good preparation for NPFL Super Six, I can’t wait for it and I believe we have a chance to win it.”
Mobolaji Sports Arena, Lagos, will host the NPFL Super Six playoff starting from June 3rd with Remo Stars competing against Enyimba FC, Lobi Stars, Bendel Insurance, Sunshine Stars and defending champions Rivers United for the league diadem and a spot for continental football next season.
