Goalkeeper Vincent Edafe has officially ended his stint with Nigeria Premier Football League side Warri Wolves after the expiration of his contract.
The experienced shot-stopper, who joined the Seasiders from Remo Stars at the beginning of the season, confirmed his departure in an interview with Owosports.com.ng. According to Edafe, his agreement with the club was only for the duration of the 2024/25 campaign.
“My contract was only till the end of the season,” Edafe said.
During his one-year spell at Warri Wolves, Edafe played his part in the club’s campaign, bringing his experience and leadership to the squad before deciding to move on at the end of his deal.
The goalkeeper has built a solid reputation in Nigerian football, having previously featured for Dakkada FC, Abia Warriors, and Remo Stars before joining Warri Wolves.
With his exit now confirmed, Edafe enters the transfer market as a free agent and will be available for clubs seeking to strengthen their goalkeeping department ahead of the new season.
