Nigeria midfielder, Ebere Orji scored the winning goal as Sundsvall edged Eskilstuna United 1-0 away from home in the Swedish Elitettan match on Saturday.

The visitors had won their previous three games in a good run of form, while the the hosts lost their last encounter 1-0 to Alingsas which ended their four-match unbeaten run.

With the game goalless after the interval and heading to the end of the clash, the encounter seemed destined for a draw.

With three minutes left for the break, Orji broke the deadlock at the Tunavallen, Eskilstuna.

She was replaced by Swedish midfielder, Nadja Fernstrom in the additional minutes of the second half.

The goal was her second after 16 league games this season for Sundsvall and extended Sundsvall’s winning run to four games.

With the win, Sundsvall moved to the tenth position with 30 points after 23 games. They will face Alingsas, Trelleborg, and Jitex in their last three games of the campaign.
