By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

The starting lineup for Nigeria’s senior women’s national team for Tuesday’s Olympic Qualifiers against Ethiopia has been revealed.

Nigerian coach, Justin Madugu made two changes to the team that played out a 1-1 draw with the Lucy in Addis Ababa.

Chiamaka Nnadozie maintained her position in goal behind Tosin Demehin, Akudo Ogbonna Michelle Alozie, and Rofiat Imuran, who replaced Nicole Payne in the starting list of the first leg at the Abebe Bilika Stadium.

Peace Efih, Toni Payne, Rasheedat Ajibade, and Uchenna Kanu also maintained their position as they started last Friday’s encounter.

Gotham FC player, Ifeoma Onumonu replaced Gift Monday upfront while Asisat Oshoala fresh from being ranked 20th last night at the 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony also maintained her position in the final third.

Ethiopia will be no pushovers ahead of the Second Round return leg clash, as the team defeated their counterparts from Chad 10-0 on aggregate in the first round to be eligible to square up to the Super Falcons.

They defeated Chad 6-0 in Addis Ababa and followed up with a 4-0 lashing of their hosts in N’Djamena a few days later.

Tuesday’s encounter at the MKO Abiola National Stadium will commence at 4 p.m.
