Abde Ezzalzouli stars as Real Betis move above Real Madrid in La Liga

Abde Ezzalzouli scored as Real Betis beat Osasuna 5-2 at La Cartuja in Seville on Sunday to climb above Real Madrid and into third place in La Liga.
The result took Manuel Pellegrini’s side to 19 points after eight matches, one ahead of Real Madrid, who dropped to fourth with 18 points.
Isco put Real Betis in front from the penalty spot after 10 minutes before Ezzalzouli doubled the advantage in the 31st minute.
The Morocco international collected a pass into the area from Juan “Cucho” Hernandez, went through one-on-one with Osasuna goalkeeper Aitor Fernandez and finished confidently.
Ezzalzouli started the match and remained on the pitch until the second minute of added time, when he was replaced by Jose Antonio Morante.
Real Betis extended their lead shortly after half-time when Osasuna forward Ante Budimir scored an own goal to make it 3-0.
Osasuna responded with two goals in quick succession. Budimir pulled one back before Raul Garcia scored to reduce the deficit to 3-2.
Isco restored Real Betis’ two-goal advantage in the 67th minute, scoring his second goal of the afternoon.
Morante then completed the scoring in the sixth minute of stoppage time, converting a pass from Hector Bellerin to seal a five-goal victory for the Andalusian side.
