AFCON 2025 Qualifiers: Libya releases 28 man list of players for Nigeria’s clash

Head Coach of Libya national football team, Nasser Al-Hadiri has announced a 28-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, (AFCON) qualifying double-header against Nigeria,

Al-Hadiri kept faith with most of the regular players in the team. The squad is spareheaded by Saudi Arabia-based Stars including Abu Shaibab of Al Ittihad, Mohammed Al-Tabbal of Al-Nassr and Ahmed Al-Masmari of Barcelona B among other key stars in the team.

Libya will face the Super Eagles in a Matchday Three encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday, October 11.

The North Africans will host the three-time African champions in Benina four days later.

The Mediterranean Knights are bottom of Group D with one point from two games.
