APR FC signs Nigerian striker Godwin Odibo ahead of new Rwandan season

By Wale Mustapha
Reigning Rwanda Premier Football champions, APR FC, have announced the signing of Nigerian striker Godwin Odibo ahead of the new season.
Odibo was part of the Sporting Lagos team in the last Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, where they unfortunately faced relegation to the second-tier division.
Despite the club’s misfortunes, Odibo’s impressive performances made him one of the most sought-after players by notable NPFL sides. Initially set to join Enyimba FC, the Rwandan champions secured his signature.
The lanky attacker was unveiled on Tuesday afternoon and is expected to participate in the CAF Champions League preliminary round slated for August.
Odibo will team up with his Nigerian compatriot, Victor Mbaoma, who has been with APR FC since 2022.
