CAF Champions League: Ilechukwu takes Rangers’ duel with Segrada as Cup final

Technical Adviser Fidelis Ilechukwu has assured that Enugu Rangers will approach their second leg match against Sagrada Esperanca in the CAF Champions League as if it were a final.
Speaking to the club’s media department as the team departed for Luanda, Ilechukwu expressed confidence in his players’ readiness.
“We are going to Luanda to play this encounter as a cup final,” he stated.
“Our opponents are very technical and have fast players. We have done our duties on how to contain them and push our way into the group stage of the competition.”
Ilechukwu acknowledged the challenge ahead but remains optimistic about achieving a positive result.
The match will take place at the 48,500-capacity Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda, with kickoff scheduled for 15:30 (Angolan Time) on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
