Glory Ogbonna scores vital goal for Besiktas in five goal thriller against Fatih Vatan Spor

Nigeria defender, Glory Ogbonna scored a crucial goal for Turkish women’s Super Lig side, Besiktas as her Club recorded a 3-2 win over Fatih Vatan Spor on Sunday.

Donjeta Halilaj broke the deadlock for the host in the second minute of play.

The visitors responded in the 21st minute with the equaliser from Esra Manya.

Two minutes into the second half, Minela Gacarina restored Beskitas’ lead.

Ogbonna extended the lead by two goal margin in the hour mark.

Peritan Bozdag reduced Fatih Vatan Spor’s deficit but it couldn’t stop Besiktas from victory.

Ogbonna has scored two goals for Besiktas this season in the league.

Besiktas occupy the third position in the league with 52 points after 25 games, 15 points behind league leaders, Fomget GSK and Fenerbahce.

They will conclude their league campaign against Hakkarigucu Spor on May 4, 2025.
