Historic night for Nigerian trio as Luton Town earn promotion to English Premier League

Nigerian trio of Elijah Adebayo, Gabriel Osho, and Fred Onyedinma made history with Luton Town FC as they gained promotion to the top flight for the first in 31 years.
Following a dramatic Championship playoff battle against Coventry, the Hatters defeated Coventry 6-5 on penalties to secure a first-ever Premier League status.
Adebayo and Osho started the tie, while Onyedinma was a second-half substitute in the dramatic final at Wembley.
Adebayo created the most chances (three) in the playoff on Saturday, made the most key passes (two), and importantly, assisted Jordan Clark for the opener in the tie.
The 25-year-old registered eight goals and assisted five in the Championship for the Hatters. Osho has been fantastic as the center-back for Luton this season as featured regularly in most of their matches.
The 24-year-old registered three goals this season in 30 appearances, including a decisive one in the Championship playoff.
Onyedinma who doubled as a midfielder and left-back for the Hatters is a reliable backup plan, and the 26-year-old had two assists in 19 matches.
