IMC, Super Sport sign pact to broadcast Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six

The Interim Management Committee, (IMC) has announced its partnership with Super Sport TV to transmit live broadcast of Nigeria Premier Football League, (NPFL) Super Six playoffs slated for Lagos next week.
Chairman of the IMC, Honorable Gbenga Elegbeleye who disclosed the development to newsman on Tuesday in Lagos said its another positive drive and successes of the committee since taking over the running the league less than 12 months ago.
Honorable Elegbeleye noted that the live telecast of matches would also encourage better officiating as match officials will be challenged to give their very best that ever.
“We have just concluded with Superport to cover the Super 6, it is a cheering news,” the IMC boss confirmed to BSN Sports.
“The players will get an International recognition again, all the matches will be televised live and that will help a great deal in showcasing our league not just in Sub-Saharan Africa, but the globe at large.
“It was not easy to reach an agreement, but we did all we could. We went forth and back and we finally came to an agreement.
“It is the hope of the IMC that after all these efforts, the best team wins the league, and the country will have worthy representatives in the two CAF organized Inter-Club Championships, next season.”
Defending champions, Rivers United, Lobi Stars, Sunshine Stars, Remo Stars, Insurance FC and Enyimba FC are the six teams to jostle for league title and continental spots next season.
The Super Six playoffs will kickoff on Sunday, July 3rd, 2023 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, in Lagos.
