Former Nigeria midfielder Austin Jay-Jay Okocha participated in a star-studded charity match in Accra, Ghana on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
The game involved Okocha and several top African legends such as Togolese footballer Emmanuel Adebayor.
The game was another feather in the cap of the former midfield maestro Okocha who is now enjoying his retirement as a global football icon and he serenaded the fans with his beautiful skills.
The 49-year-old star is regarded as one of the greatest football exports from the Africa continent and continues to be an ambassador for the game.
Adebayor confirmed his involvement in the Charity game with a photo on his official Instagram account.
Born to Nigerian parents of Yoruba ethnicity, Adebayor opted to switch his international allegiances to Togo.
He enjoyed a football career that spanned across English, Turkish, French, Togolese, and Paraguayan clubs over two decades.
