Nigeria striker, Josh Maja has reacted to netting his first goal for Championship side, West Bromwich Albion.
The Super Eagles forward hot his name on the score sheet in the 89th minute which wasn’t enough to salvage a point for his side against high flying Leicester City.
Maja described the goal as a big moment for him and looked forward to scoring more goals for his side.
He said, he’s looking forward to getting more actions in the team and play a big part in the club’s remaining games.
“It was a big moment for me to get my first goal for the club. Hopefully, it’s the first of many,” Maja was quoted by West Brom.
“I was grateful to get more minutes and I want to show everyone what I can do and play my part in helping this club win games.
“We can’t get too disheartened by this result because we went toe-to-toe with Leicester City.”

Raking in 32 points from 19 matches, the Baggies are on fifth position in the EFL Championship table.
