Mutiu Adepoju hails NFF over George Finidi’s appointment as interim Nigeria coach

Former Nigeria international, Mutiu Adepoju has commended the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF over his decision to hand Finidi George the interim appointment as Coach of Super Eagles.
The NFF confirmed Finidi’s appointment on Tuesday following his role as one the assistants to former head coach, Jose Peseiro.
The Head Coach of Enyimba FC will lead the Super Eagles in the friendlies against Ghana and Mali skated for Friday and Tuesday in Marrakech, Morocco.
Adepoju who was one of the Super Eagles’ players that won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON title, congratulated Finidi on his new appointment.
“Just learning that my brother and colleague Finidi George has been appointed interim head coach of Nigeria Super Eagles,” Adepoju wrote on his Facebook page.

“Big news, nice decision by the Federation and massive congratulations from me, here’s wishing you the best of success.”
