Napoli’s new signing Alessandro Buongiorno on challenge of facing Victor Osimhen

Napoli’s recent acquisition, Alessandro Buongiorno, has revealed the challenges of playing against Victor Osimhen, highlighting the Nigerian striker’s formidable strength and speed.

Buongiorno, who joined Napoli as their fourth signing of the summer after Rafa Marin, Leonardo Spinazzola, and Matija Popovic, following the expiration of his contract at AS Roma, regards Osimhen as the toughest striker he has encountered in his career.

“The striker I had the most difficulty with in the last championship? Osimhen was tough; we all know his strength and speed; it was difficult to mark him,” Buongiorno was quoted as saying by Football Italia.

Osimhen has a year left on his existing contract with Napoli and has been attracting interest from top European clubs and the Saudi Arabian Premier League.
