Nigerian rapper and Nollywood actor, Remilekun Khalid Safaru, has called out Manchester United legend for the current state of the club.
Like many Nigerian celebrities, ‘Reminisce’, ‘Alaga Ibile’ or ‘Baba Hafusa as severally called by many is a known United fan on the social media sphere.
Reminisce accused the club’s legend and class of ’92 of bias which is affecting the progress of the club.
“Manchester United is a football club that has refused to go with what modern football demands now,” the artist said on the Zero Conditions Podcast about the current state of his favorite club.
“There’s this exceptional demand or request from the British United fans to want a British core in that team that has been messing the team up for a decade.
“Making foreign players the scapegoat has become the order of the day in that football club, there is a pattern, there has been a clear pattern from Pogba to De Gea.
“Manchester United is a Molotov cocktail, old ex-players who feed off the football club, they go together and speak against the manager, when it’s their friend in charge they don’t speak.
“They want one of them in charge, class of 92′ want one of them in charge as well and the Glazers have not allowed one of them in, that’s why a lot of them were angry with Mourinho when Giggs left, that’s why they never really accepted Mourinho.
“I’m happy that a lot of you are beginning to see through the PR, there’s a lot of PR if you search United fan accounts now, they’ve been credited.”
