Former Nigeria captain, Sunday Oliseh, has hinted at the possibility of returning to manage Nigeria’s national football team.

Oliseh, who previously led the Super Eagles from July 2015 to February 2016, expressed his readiness to consider the role under the right circumstances and conducive environment.

Acknowledging the challenges he faced during his previous tenure, including issues with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and some senior team members, Oliseh emphasized that he hasn’t closed the door on serving his country again.

“Right now, what I can say is that I am going to put my wildcard on this question,” Oliseh said in an interview monitored on Channels TV.
“As I have also often said, if Nigeria needs my services, I will always help my country if the right conditions are met.”

The Super Eagles are currently without a head coach following the end of Jose Peseiro’s contract.

The NFF is reportedly considering local options for the role, with Oliseh being among the frontrunners due to his extensive knowledge of Nigerian and African football.
