Victor Osimhen to reveal future at Napoli xext month as Top European clubs circle

By Dayo Awoniyi

Galatasaray Vice President Abdullah Kavukcu has confirmed that Turkish giants are eagerly awaiting a decision from Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen regarding his future, which is set to be revealed next month.

Currently on loan at Galatasaray until the end of the season, the 26-year-old striker’s long-term future at Serie A club Napoli remains uncertain. Kavukcu has disclosed that at least five top European clubs are monitoring Osimhen’s situation and are in the race for his signature. However, the striker will share his plans with Galatasaray next month.

“Osimhen will tell us his decision (about his future) next month,” Kavukcu revealed, fueling further speculation about the Nigerian forward’s next move.

Galatasaray is keen to sign Osimhen on a permanent deal in the summer, with Kavukcu acknowledging the player’s fondness for the club. “He loves Galatasaray very much,” said the Galatasaray official. “Galatasaray are a top club. If it wasn’t so, Victor would not have come.”

While there have been no formal discussions with Osimhen about his future, Kavukcu hinted that the possibility of him staying at Galatasaray is very much alive. “His staying at Galatasaray is not so impossible,” he said, leaving the door open for a potential permanent transfer.
