In an exciting encounter at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, William Troost-Ekong, captain of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, marked a milestone by scoring his first goal for Al Khalood.
Unfortunately, the team fell short, losing 4-2 to the formidable Al Hilal.

However, Al Khalood demonstrated resilience, with Hammam Al Hammami finding the net in the 71st minute. Troost-Ekong further narrowed the deficit by converting a penalty in the 87th minute, showcasing his leadership on the field.
Despite the loss, this match marked Troost-Ekong’s impactful debut at home.
