2024 Nigeria Beach Soccer League: Sadiq Umar and Dozie Frank chase top scorer gong

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde
Ahead of the final Matchday of the 2024 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Super 4 in Kaduna, on Saturday, two players are in contention for the highest goal scorer prize.
Kebbi United BSC’s Sadiq Umar topped the log of the highest goal scorers with 17 goals.
He scored 16 goals during 10 regular season games and a goal at the Super 4 slated to end on Saturday.
He is followed by the consecutive league top goal scorer, Kada BSC’s Dozie Frank.
Frank has scored 15 goals so far with 12 during regular season and three at the Super 4.
Bagudu Hamza of Jigawa Golden Star BSC who is in the third position with 13 goals is no longer in contention as his team is not taking part at the ongoing Super 4.
Kada BSC which will play for pride against Kebbi BSC in the final game has a chance of lifting Frank to the top of the goal scorers chart depending on their results.
Umar on the other hand will have to extend his goal-scoring form for Kebbi United BSC against Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors in their last game.
