Afcon 2023: Tom Saintfiet backs Nigeria to replicate South Africa 2013 success

Gambia national team Coach, Tom Saintfiet has charged Nigeria to replica their Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) title winning success in Ivory Coast.
The Super Eagles will be challenged in a tricky group that consists of host nation, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea Bissau.
Saintfiet reveals his love for Nigeria football and how his passionate about the Super Eagles, tipping the West Africans to perform above expectations and lift the trophy the last won 11 years ago under the late Stephen Keshi.
”Everyone knows my passion and love for Nigerian football,” Saintfiet told Brila FM.
“It will be interesting to see how Nigeria will perform because for me they are one of the favourites it’s been 11 years since (Late) Stephen Keshi won it for them.”
The AFCON will begin on January 13 in Ivory Coast with the opening game coming up at the Olympic Stadium Ebimpe with the host nation taking on Guinea Bissau.
