Paris 2024 Qualifiers: Oshoala missing from Nigeria XI vs South Africa revealed

The starting lineup of Nigeria’s senior women’s national team for Friday’s crucial Paris 2024 Olympics Qualifiers clash against African champions, South Africa has been revealed.
Coach Randy Waldrum will start the match with Africa’s best goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie for the first leg of the fourth round of Qualifiers in Abuja.
Osinachi Ohale claimed her spot in the defence that has Michelle Alozie and returning Chidinma Okeke.
Christy Ucheibe, Deborah Abiodun, and Halimatu Ayinde have huge roles to play in the middle of the pack.
Going forward, the Super Falcons will rely on the striking force and creative abilities of Uchenna Kanu, captain Rasheedat Ajibade, Jennifer Echegini, and returning Chinwendu Ihezuo.
Record Africa women’s player of the year winner, Asisat Oshoala started the match on the bench after joining the team a day before the match.
Tochukwu Oluehi, Linda Jiwaku, Ifeoma Onumonu, Esther Okoronkwo, Toni Payne, Rinsola Babajide, Gift Monday, Alani Jumoke, Oladipo Shukurat, and Nicole Payne will also start the game from the bench.
The game is slated to kick off by 5:00 pm at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The return leg in Pretoria is billed for the next four days.
