Steve Cooper appointed Wilfred Ndidi’s Leicester City Manager, replaces Enzo Maresca

Steve Cooper, will be taking over as the new coach of Leicester City ahead of the upcoming English Premier League (EPL) season.
Former Nottingham Forest manager is set to replace Enzo Maresca, who recently guided Leicester City back to the top flight of English football before moving to Chelsea, as reported by Sky Sports News.
Cooper has been without a managerial position since his dismissal from Nottingham Forest last December. During his tenure at Forest, he played a key role in the signing of Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi, who joined the club in 2022.
At Leicester City, Cooper will also have the opportunity to work with another Nigerian player, Wilfred Ndidi. Ndidi, whose current contract with Leicester is set to expire this month, is reportedly in talks to renew his deal with the Foxes.
Cooper’s appointment marks a new chapter for Leicester City as they prepare for the challenges of the upcoming Premier League season.
