CAF set to make WAFCON, AFCON, CHAN decisions on Friday

The Confederation of African Football will be holding a virtual executive council meeting to made some decisive steps it upcoming tournaments on Friday, Nigeriafootball.ng reports.
Major topics to discuss will centre on dates and arrangements for the 2024 Women African Cup of Nations, WAFCON and that of Morocco 2025 African Cup of Nations, AFCON as well as the 2024 African Nations Championship.
The meeting became more necessary as both competitions are likely to suffer a shift in earlier schedules due to the 2024 Olympic Games and the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The meeting is expected to be chaired by CAF president, Patrice Motsepe and other notable members of the executive council.
“The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) Executive Committee (“EXCO”) will hold a virtual meeting on Friday, 21 June 202,” reads a statement on CAF’s official website.
