OFFICIAL: Chioma Olise completes switch to Trabzonspor

Nigeria midfielder, Chioma Olise has joined Turkish Women’s Super Lig side, Trabzonspor.

She joined the Turkish Club from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership champions, Edo Queens.

The Super Falcons player signed one and a half years of contact with her new team and will wear jersey number 16.

The deal was facilitated by Dr Omatshola Sifo, Proprietor of royal football agency.

Olise started her top flight with Royal Queens (formerly Olori Babes) when the team gained promotion to the NWFL Premiership.

Her breakthrough came at Edo Queens where she won the 2023/24 NWFL Premiership title with Moses Aduku’s side.

She also won the West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) Women’s Champions League title in Cote D’Ivoire and captained the Benin City-based side to a fourth-placed finish at the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League in Morocco.

At the national team level, she represented Nigeria at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup as Falconets reached the quarter-final.

She also made the roster for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

In 2024, Olise got an invitation to the Super Falcons and played against Algeria in a two-legged friendly match.
