Rangers Patron Benson Ejindu Promises N250,000 Per Goal Ahead of Ikorodu City Clash

Ahead of Rangers International’s crucial final league game of the season against Ikorodu City FC, club patron Sir Benson Ejindu has pledged a cash reward of N250,000 for every goal scored by the Flying Antelopes in Sunday’s encounter.

Ejindu made the announcement during an exclusive chat with TalkSportsNaija from his base in the United States (US), expressing strong confidence in the team’s ability to finish the season on a positive note.

The respected football financier explained that the financial incentive is aimed at motivating the players ahead of what is expected to be a fiercely contested fixture.

“I’m making a promise to the team today through you. Each goal scored against Ikorodu City in this match will be rewarded with the sum of N250,000,” Ejindu declared.

He also revealed plans to officially relay the message to the club’s management and players through the team captain.

“I will get in touch with the General Manager and the players through the captain to inform them about this development. I wish the team the very best in today’s match,” he added.

Ejindu has remained one of Rangers International’s strongest supporters in recent years, consistently offering financial support and encouragement to the seven-time Nigerian champions.

His latest gesture is expected to further boost the morale of the players as they aim to end the campaign strongly against an ambitious Ikorodu City side.

The highly anticipated clash at the Onikan Stadium has already generated excitement among fans, with both teams eager to secure a positive result in the final game of the season.
