WAFCON 2024: Super Falcons Finally Receive Kits Ahead of Zambia Showdown

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde
After a week-long delay caused by customs clearance issues in Morocco, the Super Falcons of Nigeria have finally received their training kits at their hotel in Casablanca, just in time for their crucial quarter-final clash against Zambia.
The delay had forced the team to train in old matchday jerseys, sparking concern back home.
However, the Nigeria Football Federation clarified that the problem stemmed from logistical challenges with Moroccan customs, not negligence on their part.
NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau confirmed that the kits, supplied by Nike, had now been delivered following persistent efforts.
With the kits now in hand, the players are relieved and excited to wear them during their final training session before the high-stakes match against Zambia’s Copper Queens, set for Friday at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
