Anuoluwapo Salisu joins Sporting Club Casablanca

Former Nigeria junior international Anuoluwapo Salisu has sealed a move to Moroccan side Sporting Club Casablanca, the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League silver medalists confirmed.
Salisu makes the switch from fellow Moroccan giants AS FAR FC, strengthening the Casablanca outfit ahead of the new season.
The versatile midfielder began her career in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership, turning out for Dreamstar Ladies and Bayelsa Queens, before embarking on her professional journey abroad.
She had spells with BIIK Kazygurt in Kazakhstan and later in Israel, before moving to Morocco.
At Sporting Club Casablanca, Salisu will work under the guidance of experienced South African tactician Jerry Tshabalala, who recently took charge of the team.
Tshabalala, widely respected on the continent, led Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies to victory in the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League in 2021, before reclaiming the title in 2023, with AS FAR FC winning in 2022.
The move marks another important step in Salisu’s career as she continues to gain experience and exposure on the African stage.
