Chiamaka Nnadozie produced a superb Player of the Match performance as Brighton claimed a hard-fought 1–0 away victory over Everton in the Women’s Super League (WSL).
The Nigerian goalkeeper was outstanding between the posts, keeping a deserved clean sheet and making two crucial saves at key moments to deny Everton and protect Brighton’s narrow lead.
Nnadozie’s consistency this season continues to stand out.
She has now made 44 saves in just 10 league appearances and kept four clean sheets, placing her joint second in the WSL clean-sheet rankings—just one behind Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper.
The save hands came out top with her team against her national teammate, Toni Payne who featured for Everton FC.
With 17 points after 13 games, Brighton occupy the sixth position ahead of other weekend matches.
