Heavyweight Clashes Await as President Federation Cup Round of 16 Fixtures Emerge

The stage is set for another round of exciting action in the 2026 President Federation Cup following the release of the Round of 16 fixtures.

Several intriguing matchups are on the cards as teams continue their quest for a place in the quarter-finals of Nigeria’s oldest football competition.

One of the standout fixtures will see former champions Bendel Insurance take on El-Kanemi Warriors in what promises to be a fiercely contested encounter. Rivers United will also face a stern test against Nasarawa United after eliminating Rangers International in the previous round.

Elsewhere, giant-killers Sokoto United and Adamawa United will battle for a place in the last eight, while Kada Warriors face Wikki Tourists in another highly anticipated clash.

Bida Lions will square off against Flight FC, Plateau United take on FC Basira, and Ikorodu City face two-time African champions Enyimba in one of the biggest ties of the round.

Youthful side Sunshine Stars U-19 will look to continue their fairytale run when they meet Barau FC.
