2026 NWFL Premiership Super Six: Nasarawa Amazons Edge Edo Queens in Port Harcourt

Nasarawa Amazons began their 2026 NWFL Premiership Super Six campaign on a winning note, securing a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Edo Queens in Port Harcourt.

The decisive moment came in the 61st minute when Adaobi Okah struck against her former club, finding the back of the net to hand the Amazons a crucial advantage. Despite Edo Queens’ efforts to respond, Nasarawa Amazons remained resolute at the back to preserve their lead until the final whistle.

Okah’s second-half winner proved enough to separate the two sides in a tightly contested encounter, earning Nasarawa Amazons a valuable three points in their quest for the Super Six title.

It was the perfect start to the championship playoffs for the Amazons, who will look to build on the result as the race for the 2026 NWFL Premiership crown intensifies.
