Moses Simon Partners NSC to Boost Grassroots Football Development in Nigeria

Nigeria winger Moses Simon has paid a courtesy visit to the National Sports Commission (NSC) as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots football development across Nigeria.

During the visit, the Nantes star held discussions with NSC officials on initiatives aimed at identifying, nurturing, and supporting young football talents while creating more opportunities for aspiring players nationwide.

Simon expressed his gratitude to the Commission and its Chairman for their unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and sports development in the country.

The winger also disclosed that the NSC has endorsed and partnered with the forthcoming Moses Simon Foundation U-17 Football Championship, a tournament designed to provide a platform for talented young footballers to showcase their skills and pursue their dreams of playing at the highest level.

According to Simon, the collaboration between his foundation and the Commission will help create sustainable pathways for emerging talents to reach their full potential, while also contributing significantly to the growth of grassroots football in Nigeria.

He commended the Commission for believing in the vision of the foundation and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote youth development and sporting excellence across the nation.
