Sporting Lagos, Inter Lagos, Doma United and Ranchers Bees have officially been inducted into the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) ahead of the 2026/27 campaign following their promotion to the country’s top-flight division.
The quartet participated in an orientation programme organised by the NPFL management to familiarise them with the league’s operational framework and club licensing requirements.
The induction programme was designed to equip the newly promoted sides with the knowledge needed to meet the league’s regulatory and administrative standards before the commencement of the new season.
League officials used the session to highlight key expectations regarding club operations, compliance, and overall readiness as the clubs prepare for their debut or return to the elite division.
As preparations for the 2026/27 season gather pace, all 20 clubs expected to participate in the new campaign are scheduled to meet on Tuesday. The meeting is expected to address important issues concerning the forthcoming season as the NPFL finalises plans for another competitive campaign.
