Rafiu Durosinmi: Nigeria striker joins Genk from Pisa in €10.5m deal

Nigeria forward Rafiu Durosinmi has joined Belgian side Genk from Italian club Pisa in a permanent €10.5m transfer. The 23-year-old centre-forward has signed a contract with the Jupiler Pro League club until 30 June 2030.
Durosinmi, who was born in Lagos and stands at 1.92m, moves to Belgium after a short spell in Italy, having joined Pisa from Viktoria Plzen in January 2026. His switch to Serie B followed an impressive rise through Czech football, where he featured in domestic league, cup and European competitions.
A right-footed central striker, Durosinmi has built a reputation as a consistent scorer across multiple tournaments. He has produced goals and assists in league action, domestic cups and in European competition, including the Europa League and Champions League qualifying rounds, as well as the Europa Conference League.
Before his move to Italy, Durosinmi’s performances for Viktoria Plzen came on the back of a standout spell at MFK Karvina. There he helped the club win the Czech 2nd Division title in the 2022-23 season, having progressed from Karvina’s under-19 side into the senior team.
Genk’s acquisition of Durosinmi adds a physically imposing centre-forward with European experience to their attacking options, with the Nigerian now tied to the Belgian club on a four-year deal.
