Genk sign Nigeria forward Rafiu Durosinmi on four-year deal from Pisa

KRC Genk have strengthened their attack with the signing of Nigeria striker Rafiu Durosinmi from Pisa SC on a four-year contract.
The Belgian Pro League side have made the 23-year-old their second arrival of the summer transfer window as preparations continue for the 2026-27 campaign.
Genk believe Durosinmi will add power, presence and goals to their forward line, viewing him as a key piece in efforts to keep the club competing at the top end of the Belgian top flight.
The club see the Super Eagles forward as a complete centre-forward, with his physical strength and aerial ability highlighted as qualities that fit their tactical plans.
Genk also expect the new signing to adapt quickly and make an immediate contribution at the Cegeka Arena, where he will lead a refreshed attacking department.
Durosinmi joins from Italian side Pisa SC, where he had been developing his game before securing the move to Belgium.
The transfer marks a new phase in the striker’s career as he looks to establish himself in the Belgian Pro League and justify Genk’s long-term investment.
Genk are aiming to assemble a squad capable of challenging for major honours next season, and Durosinmi’s arrival is seen within the club as an important step towards that goal.
The Nigerian will now begin work with his new team-mates ahead of the new campaign, with the club confident his profile is well suited to the demands of Belgian football.
