Ibrahim Yahaya seals Kano Pillars move as NPFL side add Nigeria winger from Barau FC

Nigeria winger Ibrahim Yahaya has joined Kano Pillars from Barau FC, becoming the latest attacking addition for the NPFL club. The 22-year-old left-sided forward has completed his switch within the Nigerian top flight after impressing for Barau, where he established himself in the senior game.

Yahaya, born on 20 August 2003, arrives at Pillars as a right-footed left winger, offering the club an option to cut inside from the flank. The move was finalised on 27 July 2026, with the player now officially registered with the four-time Nigerian champions.

The Kano native heads to one of the country’s most widely supported clubs at a point in his career where his market value is listed at €125,000, reflecting his growing standing in the domestic league.
